Another year with another medal. Sub 2:20 for 2nd place in JV 800 and 1st place for JV 4*800. 4*800 (2:26)- Nate and Hollister gave us a decent gap between us and 2nd place so I didn’t want to gas out at the start in case the guy in 2nd caught up. I had no one to pace off of so I fell asleep during laps 2 and 3. I closed pretty strong and got a clean handoff to Joseph, who also ran pretty well. 800 (2:19)- I had never ran 2 800s in one meet before, so I didn’t know what to expect. I thought I got out pretty fast the first lap but I got passed by a huge pack during lap 2. I had to swing out to lane 4 to pass the pack during lap 3. I managed to finish strong, almost right behind Brady. Overall, good meet, nice to see so many good races and big PR’s.
