Bud mohns meet. The mile didn’t go as planned. I was a little excited because it was my first mile race outdoors and recalling the indoor season, I did pretty well in my mile race. I guess that my progress in the indoor season gave me too much confidence for this race. I ended up placing 9th. I’m not gonna let this race defeat me. I still have more time to improve. Being a decent or good runner doesn’t only mean you have to race well and crush workouts. It’s also about recovering, which kind’ve made me realize after not having great workouts and races outdoors. Overall great job to the guys racing well: Reda securing his team’s place in the varsity 4 by 8, Otis crushing a PR in the 2 mile, Liam, Nick, Jack, and Arjun working together for the frosh soph 4 by 8. And to everyone else who competed today.

Mid workout. Times were 2:31, 12:02, 2:36, and then 9:08. I’m a little worried for the race on Saturday, but I won’t let this workout drag me down. Also good job to the guys running the TT tdy

Mid run tdy. Was thinking about cross training but decided to run and see how I feel. Turns out I probably should’ve credos trained. My legs were pretty sore for the first 3/4, but then I got a second wind and got my legs back. Probably should cross train tmrw morning instead of run for half an hour so I’m ready for the workout.

Not a good workout today. I noticed my breathing was bad after the first 800 but I didn’t wanna complain and quit. The next 400 my breathing got worse and had to go to the trainer after the last 400 of that set. I think I need a new inhaler cuz my breathing is not getting a lot better with spring as another limiting factor. Legs feel weak

Meet day. Finally back on track and in much better conditions since Wednesday. For my 800 I was a little scared of getting spiked and it kindve threw me off for my race. 2:07.6 isn’t bad but I shouldn’t have feared that. Did workout

Ok meet. Legs were hurting during the warmup but I wanted to keep a positive mind set to do well. Ran 2:10 which is alright but not far off from my pr, which tells me where I’m at right now. I wasn’t expecting really anything out of the 400, but I ran 60 so that’s alright. Redeemed myself in the 4x4 and ran 58.
