Alright workout. Went 2:16 in the 8 and was just off the top 4. I'm really mad cuz I didn't put myself in a good spot and I know I had so much left, but the race went by so quick. I know I'm there I just can't execute & it sucks but it is what it is. Prep was ok. 2 x 1 mile (6:59, 6:39) shins have been a killer all szn and I rly felt it today. 3 x 200 @ 33. And Real Madrid lost 😢

Tough Newberry Park. Tried to hang on during the second set but couldn't seem to move anything after 200m when the lactic monster got me. Was hard pacing by myself from time to time and now feel like I didn't give it my all. Didn't eat enough lunch too. Overall, really difficult and got a horrible headache after. Weights 3 at home simulated with some bands and dumbbells 💪 Splits: 2:30, 70, 74, 2:39, 76, 79.

Alright race. Went out too hard to try and get with Andrew and then let some guys get away from me and slowed down a lot. First mile of the season though and PRed by like a second compared to under the lights. Wasn't 100% going into this race, but I gotta start locking in these races I know I can get to sub 5.

Really nice race today. Split 5:51, 5:44 and the whole race felt controlled and comfortable. Wind wasn't even that bad only felt it on one lap. Just ran smart and played the waiting game to secure the dub. Overall, weather was perfect to me and I wouldn't change anything I did today, felt the prep was solid.

Really solid progression. Cass ~6.3 in 46:47 (7:26 avg). 8:15, 7:53, 7:46, 7:13, 6:45, 6:35 and 6:20 pace for the last .3. I felt so good through the first 5 I kept getting faster and cruised for the last bit. I think resting and rehabilitating my body over break helped me feel so good today. 200s @34 and cd.

.5 track warmup + dynamics then hopped on tread for 1 mile continued warmup. Then 2 x 1 mile @ 6:30 pace and rest @ 8:30 pace. Shifted to track for the last mile which was slower. Really tough I sweated so much and felt way worse than last week. I definitely did to big of mileage jump last week and I'm feeling it, this week has been very bad and hitting times has been difficult.

7.28 mile ride to and fro Hinsdale for driving class. Legs felt horrible b4, now they are better. Chill double.

Really tough workout. 2k @tempo in 8:30, 1600 @5k in 7:10, 1200 @3k in 5:05, 800 @mile in 2:58, 400 all out in 70. Very hot, and I didn't hydrate well today and yesterday. Felt very difficult and cramped like crazy for the first 3 reps, but caught a second wind. Overall, times were slow but great effort.

Couldn't get a ride to WG. Biked to the gym and back (~25min/5.2M). Ran on the tready for softish surface cuz my legs were cashed. Felt amazing after the first half I picked it up and last 1.5 miles got rippy under 7 pace and faster. I felt very great today, could've gone more but don't want to put on miles to quick.
