Did my fartleks today. 1 mi warm up, 4x 2min at 8:20 pace followed by 90sec recovery jog, then did cooldown until I hit 3 miles. Finding that it’s much better for me mentally to break up the run into different parts vs running at the same pace the whole time (at least on the treadmill, don’t have enough ourdoor running experience yet to compare)
