Calm Fairview and 200s. I took them quite fast and feel like I might pay for it. 28.9, 28.7, 29.4, 29.2 which is kinda insane for flats. Feeling good and ready to crush tomorrows workout

You only get so many chances to learn before you run out. I made it my one and only goal to get out in front today, and I achieved it - before some kid almost shoved me off the track. I couldn’t seem to recover. Running the rest of the race from last went down as a direct repeat of Antioch, and I felt as if there was nothing I could do about it. I’m embarrassed and ashamed to have run another 2:07. None of my performance from this week or preparation persisted through the meet, and I’ve obviously lost my spot in the top competitions. Indoor meets continue to go really poorly for me, but we’re only halfway through the season - I don’t like to bitch and complain, but I have to acknowledge that some things need attention with me. Whether it’s fixing my side-to-side arms or kicking back my legs further or simply being faster, I’ve clearly got a lot of work to do. Simply put, I’m not strong yet - but nothing is going to stop me from changing that. I can’t have this entire log be negative. I’m going to keep my head down and work my ass off. There’s still plenty of season left, so I can’t let this define the rest of it. Yeah, I could’ve summed this up with “I ran badly and am regretting it,” but I seriously can’t keep doing this. Brushing it off won’t solve shit.

Fairview with thunder and lightning. This one felt long but I got it done

Mile tempo, 400, 400, 6x200. I spiked up for the 4s and 2s and felt pretty good. Going from indoor to outdoor is like night and day. 5:40 55 56 31s - ready to get in the mix on saturday.

Proviso quad. Ran the 6 and anchored the 4x4 - got out too slow in the 6 and ended up with a horrible position. I thought there were too many people around me so I wasn’t comfortable making big moves. It cost me big time. Ran an okay 1:30 for my first ever 600. The 4x4 went better, plus I had fun messing with Cupial on the line. Guys I SWEAR I almost hawked him. 😂 brought it home in around a 56, which for indoor and for me is a little crazy. Only up from here.

Rainy plainfield pre meet. Why we did plainfield for pre meet is beyond me. Killed the vibe 😔. Had 100s at 4 pace and felt a little slow. I’m ready to push for two PRs tomorrow.

Recovering from minor sickness. Jumped in with MD to get a mini workout done, and I felt pretty good. Stayed with Noah and Tarasi. I had fun and I think that the MD workout would’ve been more productive for me anyway. Grateful to Coach for looking out for me

Antioch 2026. Ran a terrible first leg and screwed the rest of the relay. Could’ve been worse for an opener, though; I have plenty of time to get to where I need to be. Learning opportunity

Strange speed workout on the outdoor track. I didn’t feel good. Managed to speed up the 200s each time, finishing in around a 27 during the 300. Wasn’t a fan of the spikes. The workout could’ve gone worse, so im glad to have gotten it over with.
