Don’t usually make race reflections on Trackster but I can’t say no to Arjun. It’s awesome to see how much I’ve been able to improve in such a short amount of time. I’d be lying if I said i didn’t have doubts after my indoor season ended. I think back to my quote I chose for quote of the day, “You’re riding high in April, shot down in May. But I know I’m gonna change that tune. When I’m back on top. Back on top in June.” I know my training has paid off and despite a slow start I believe I’m peaking at the right time. I wouldn’t say I felt great at any point of the race but I never felt like I was overdoing it and going too hard. That last lap I was able to really open up and close faster than I’ve ever closed a two mile. Crossing the line was a great feeling I was honestly suprised I was able to hold the other runners off. I’m hoping my time might get me in the fast heat but either way I’m ready to roll at state and take my last shot for this team. Is all state shooting too high??? 👀 I don’t think so 😤 MichaelGXC768 just getting started
