Tenpo day. Warmup, swingers and dynamics, 3x1600 at 6:30 pace with 1 min rest (6:29, 28, 28), 5 min rest, 2x400 at 1600 pace (goal was 1:22 got 1:20 then 1:15), and then mile cooldown. This was an interesting workout for sure. Felt like I was continually getting weaker as the workout went on and yet the data shows that I was actually running faster each time. Pretty crazy how not overthinking and instead repeating the “push to maintain” mantra actually makes a difference. Should have hydrated better throughout the day because I got a small cramp during the cooldown but this actually gives me some hope for Saturday’s meet, which is awesome

Should have been a better feeling loop, but all my little mistakes culminated into this run. Dehydrated, maybe a little too fast yesterday, and I had to use my older running shoes because the ones I used yesterday were still wet. Gotta learn again

Had to put all of my stuff away after the band trip and I didn’t know what to do so I ended up with doing a run where I was faster than I usually go for 42 minutes. Disappointed in myself for just not being resourceful enough because I could have definitely prevented this. On the brighter side, I know now that being pissed off makes me run a bit faster. Not sure if I should do anything with that though

Stough warmup, dynamics, 3 sets of 600 at 1600 RP then 1 min rest then 300 at 800 RP, cooldown. Legs felt like they could have done a 4th but my lungs were undoubtedly dying. Morning run with Sean, Ayush, and Otis. 3 mi warmup, 2x400 at 1600 pace, 2x400 at 3200 pace, 1 mi cooldown. Stretching beforehand helped my ankle I think so that was good, but maybe too much rest because the 3200 pace ones felt too easy. Good luck to TT and meet guys!

15 min warmup, 2 laps of 50 walk, accel, sprint, and decel, plyo, speed ladder, dynamics, and 40 min run cut short because of a sharp pain in my ankle that would just not go away. Need to get that checked out

Long run today. First hour was outside and last 20 were on the treadmill. Fitness is definitely getting better again but this was still more difficult than I expected considering the pace I was going and the pace I know I can do. Got it done tho and finished out

Workout day. Stough warmup, dynamics, 1200 at 3200 race pace, jog 400, 400 at 1600 race pace, 10 min cooldown. Could not do another set because cold air - need to also bring warmer gloves for these kinds of workouts. 1200 was in 4:44 (6:18 pace which is about right) and 400 was 92 (6:07 pace - way slow)
