4x8, 8 double. Obviously not the result I was looking for. Don’t know what’s next but I’m going to make the most out of it since I don’t have many more opportunities. On the bright side I had a great time at the meet and was able to soak up my last conference championship.

12x200 workout. Watch died so don’t rly have times but I felt very smooth and strong.

Very painful long run today. Felt hard from mile 1 but happy that I got it done. Going to rest and recovery for the big week ahead.

McCarthy 4x8. If I’m being honest my race preparation was not ideal throughout the week and with an AP test right before the 4x8 that definitely wasn’t easy. Ended up splitting 2:01 which I was pleased with. Going to lock in this week though and get a huge pr at conference. Had 3-4 uncrustables after the race and then was told I was in the 4x4. Ended up splitting 53 which isn’t good but also not terrible. 2:01/53 day. Lots to come.

Post prom + AP test workout. Obviously didn’t feel amazing but still managed fine.

Pete struck 800. Got out in the middle of the pack and missed the main move on the backstretch of the 2nd lap. Close looked like I walked it in. Know the fitness is there from my workout earlier but didn’t have it today. Going to think about new things to incorporate into my routine because whatever I’m doing right now isn’t working. Went on an 3 mile cooldown to run off the steam.

Annual 4x4 workout. Splits were 57,56,56,57 which is 3:46 off of 8 mins rest. Happy with the effort and the times and I know a big pr for the 800 is due.

Sub 60 loop today with Long-John. Had to use the woods at mile 8.2 but other than that it was a great day.

3 broken 800’s. First workout back in a few weeks. Wish I felt better but was able to finish fine and got a good workout in. Times were 1:41,30,1:38,30,1:40,30. Locked up the last 600.

Bud Mohns meet. Not pleased with my 800 and especially my 4x4 split. Got out good in the 8 but didn’t keep my form the last 200. Don’t care about the PR because I didn’t compete well and I’m a lot fitter than what I ran. 4x4 was my worst race of the season but I know what I need to fix. Ran 2:02.28/54 high. Big pr’s coming in the next weeks.

2 mile shakeout in the morning plus 400/4x4 double at meet. Very happy I was able to compete given my injury. The open 4 felt very smooth and honestly wasn’t that hard. Was the lead off for the 4x4 and got us off in a great lead and felt even better than the 400. Didn’t know how today would go but presently surprised and ready for Saturday. Ran 55.36 in the open 4 and split 53.something in the 4x4.

1,2,3,4,5,4,3,2,1 on the elliptical. HR was in the 170’s-180’s for most of it so definitely got a good workout. Planning to double after the meet because I don’t wanna lose fitness.
