3200 at HF. Mixed bag of emotions about this race. Plan was to just stick on Yonny for as long as I could, and unfortunately that was only for like a mile. Not sure exactly how I ended up 4th in the results though and scoring points for the team but once again excited to see the team doing well again and finish runner-up. Onto the next.

Cass pre-meet with Mike and Elliot. Super chill and easy. Excited to race tomorrow and hopefully see some improvements in fitness.

4x(600 at 1600, 1 min rest, 300 at 800). Really tough but good workout that had me feeling the lactic in my legs. Kinda crazy to see how much lactic really tires and weighs down your legs. Definitely a good workout that will make me more fit. 1:44, 48, 1:45, 50, 1:46, 49, 1:47, 50.

1600 at Lakes. Pretty disappointed. Totally just felt asleep in the race and didn’t make any moves. Also ended up catching a virus a couple days ago and thought I could pull through it. Going to make sure to rest up.

Proviso West meet. Super fun meet. Happy to go into my mile heat and come out with the win. Doubled back in the 4x4 with the big 4. I think Miller had me at 58 something so I’ll take the PR. Probably could have been faster but some DGN guys got in the way 😡

Stough, 2x2 mile, 10 mins of 45s tempo, 15s jog, cool down. Good tempo, was hitting 90s like clockwork. Excited for Friday.

3200 at Sequoit Showdown. Really bad race. Was in it for a mile then dropped back like crazy. Just felt exhausted. Gonna lock in on the training and hope to get fit soon. 20 mins of 45s tempo , 15s jog after.

200, 220, 240, 260, 280, 300 at 1600 down to 400 pace. New speed workout that felt pretty rippy with spikes on. Definitely felt the lactic on the last rep. Lowest volume workout probably ever.
