Run

Quick scouting at Graue, wanted to quicken things up so ran a bit. Got home and decided to do 100 squats and over 100 punches because I felt like getting back into some martial arts a bit, before I start running again at least. But anyways I think I have a lot to talk about since I graduated yesterday. First off, Kurm and Aden managed to get mentioned in speeches without even needing to be there, just shows how much they’ve made an impact on the class of 2024. Also Mark won an award at the scholarships ceremony thing and several administrators mentioned how the track seniors going down for state were repping what the class of 2024 was all about, “Greatness”, according to Will Gaffney. What an impact this team’s seniors have made on the class of 2024. Great job to everyone who gave their all today during prelims. Now for that 4x4, let’s finish up what we started this season with. That drive for our 4x4 to be our best thing from the little four to the state final meet, the culmination of our program which embodies team and is out to show that even when we get knocked over, literally, we get back up and keep running. Good luck.
P.S. Girls time trial got postponed to tmrw so Antonio and I couldn’t make it, but thankfully they were able to get some of the senior girls to pace it. Also I had to go back to school today since at approximately 5pm yesterday, 2-3 hours before I graduated my Spanish teacher informed me that my partner and I would need to remake an assignment since our recorded speaking didn’t submit properly and she couldn’t hear the other. So my grade dropped a whopping 13% from an A to a B and my partner went down to a C. Ridiculous, so frustrating and annoying but I realized I had to finish the job since I had done a lot to get that A so there’s no point in throwing it away, and I should keep my final transcript strong just in case. So I went in and made the most of it and laughed with my partner at how only the Spanish teacher would give us a 0. Then said hi to Rogers, Isa, Anand, and later Kasra. Felt weird having to get a visitor ID. Like I was ready for the mile before McCarthy I’m ready for “greatness” in the next part of my life.
