Finally Broke 10. Coming out of the first mile, I did not think sub 10 was in the cards. I heard that if you want to break 10, your first mile has to be sub 5 or the chances are very slim. I tried to push and take the lead on lap 6 but then got overtaken again. Tried to make another move with 400 to go but didn’t have enough in the last 200 to win. Happy with the pr but the race was sloppy and I think with better tactics I could have ran a lot faster. It’s good that I was able to close in a 4:53 and 68 tho and shows my fitness is in a solid spot right now. 9:56.7
