Conference. Ran the 3200 and was planning on time trailing it with Elliot but our pacing was pretty buns. Eventually it just turned into a sit and kick race and me and Elliot started moving with 800 to go. We were able to come out with a Hinsdale central 1-2 and 18 points for the team. I also ran a small pr. The rest of the meet was electric. The boys were rolling and we kept stacking wins. It was great to finally win conference and get it done for Coach Lawrence’s birthday. Ready to get back to work.

McCarthy. Rough meet for me, felt super flat and tired before the 8 and I never felt like I was in the race. Tried my hardest to push at the end but just didn’t have anything. Did a 3 mile tempo after to dial in. The other guys ran great tho, super cool to see Tarasi and Bart go 1:56 and will break 5. McCarthy is always a great meet. Gonna reset and get redemption at conference and beyond.

Pete struck mile. Felt good and just tried to stay in pack. Pace was very fast at the start but I was still able to close hard. Good race and step in the right direction. 4:21.
