Under the lights - final race. Ran a 4:54 - missed the PR by a second but I'm happy, I think I raced well and had fun. Nice dinner with the guys at Canes afterwards. Overall, a pretty emotional meet - Tarasi asking if I was going to practice tomorrow definitely got me. Going to miss all the guys a lot. Getting to know everyone better was definitely the highlight of my season, 100% my most enjoyable season across all four years. As much as I love to mess with them, guys like Kasra and Momin (and many others) were always fun to hang out with. My only regret is that I never texted Ava Buckley. More on what I was getting at in my speech: Early on in my XC/TF career, I would dread racing in meets because of the way I felt leading up to my race. For anyone who feels similar, the best advice I can give is look forward to the time you'll spend with teammates and the racing will take care of itself. Pressure is important in the moment, but it won't be what you remember years later. I know I don't say it enough, but I'm incredibly proud of how far everyone on the team has come, both as runners and as people. Thank you to everyone for a memorable four years, I'll always be proud to have been a part of this team.
