Amazingly Spectacular Under da Lights. It felt really good to actually get a PR during a race. I had been talking to James for the last week about pacing each other for this race to attempt sub 6, and it was cool to warmup with him and chat a bit. I had tried to get 45 every 200, props to Ian for helping out. It was just a little too difficult for me to get to sub 6, but I’ll gladly take this huge PR from the race. I took a pretty big risk trying to push myself, and my splits were rather mediocre😬, and my legs were BURNING start of the 3rd lap, and it was hard to pick it up for the last lap.
