Learning opportunity. Got out hard and paid dearly. I hit an absolute titanium wall after the first mile. At least I know how to get out now. This will not happen again About 40 seconds off PR; I don’t know how all that training did nothing. I’ve got my lesson and my failed race to think about and improve upon. I cannot end the season poorly like this. No negative emotions - it’s way too late in the season to feel sorry for myself
